Accessibility at High Valley Dawn

At High Valley Dawn, we believe that nature, learning, and connection should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to creating a welcoming experience for visitors of all abilities and continue to improve our physical space, tours, and communication based on expert guidance and lived experience.

We know inclusion is a journey, and we're working every day to make our regenerative farm stay more accessible, comfortable, and inclusive for all.

Current Accessible Features

Access to Farm Tours

Onsite parking available near the Market Garden gate
Flat, wide pathways in main areas (e.g. market garden, food forest edge)
Wheelchair-friendly zones on the self-guided audio tour
Verbal guidance and assisted options available for uneven terrain

Tiny Home Accommodation

Our tiny homes are accessible via a small flight of stairs and currently do not include wheelchair access or ramps. We understand this may not suit all guests and are happy to talk through details in advance to support your planning. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Assistance Animals

Certified assistance animals are welcome throughout the farm
Please keep animals on a lead at all times and advise us in advance if possible

Communication Support

Staff use clear, supportive language
Verbal orientations are provided for guests with vision impairments
QR codes link to audio guides and written content
Video content is being reviewed for captioning and accessibility

Personalised Support

If you let us know your access needs in advance, we can adjust our offerings to support you
Quiet, low-sensory spaces can be arranged on request

Looking Ahead

We’re committed to ongoing improvements to accessibility and inclusion. With the support of a recent Accessibility Action Plan, we’re identifying priorities and seeking funding opportunities to implement further upgrades to access, signage, and facilities.
