SELF-GUIDED AUDIO TOURS

Take a peaceful, self-guided stroll through our working permaculture farm. Wander through lush veggie gardens, explore our food forests, meet friendly farm animals, and learn how we live in harmony with nature. Go at your own pace using our audio tour and signs along the way to guide you. Ideal for families, nature lovers, or anyone curious about regenerative living.

The audio tour is accessed via a QR code that you receive when you get to the farm. You will need a mobile device to access the QR code and please BYO headphones or a small bluetooth speaker (for small groups).

GUIDED TOURS

Join owner Ross, or one of our passionate farm crew, for a guided walk through High Valley Dawn. You'll be introduced to the principles of permaculture and our vision for a regenerative future, while exploring the market garden, food forests, and animal paddocks. Along the way, you'll discover sustainable features like our natural desalination system, powerless cold room, solar irrigation, upcycled home, and hand-built mud-brick pizza oven. It's an inspiring, hands-on experience for anyone interested in living lightly on the land.

accessibility

High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm Tours are open to people of all ability/mobility levels.

There is onsite parking near the front gate of the market garden (the first stop in our Farm Tour) where people of all ability levels can disembark. The majority of the tour is carried out on grounds that are flat and accessible to people of all fitness levels, ability levels, as well as for people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

There are some sections of the tour that may be difficult for people in wheelchairs – such as in the Food Forest – however other options can be provided for those people while the main tour visits those areas. Please let us know in advance if you have special requirements in terms of mobility.

Assistance animals are welcome to come into the market garden and Food Forest areas, as long as they stay on a lead. There are parts of the garden that we do not walk on (such as garden beds) hence animals need to be kept on a lead at all times and guided to stay on the paths.
