Applications for our 2026 intern program are now open!

Do you know a young person who's passionate about Permaculture?

Our internship offers a small number of participants the opportunity to complete a 6-month program at the farm where they will rotate around the all the different departments, receive 1-on-1 mentorship and take on their own department or project.

Graduates of the Internship program will then have the option to stay on longer-term, become part of the long-term community on the farm and potentially launch their own business.

In 2026, we are also offering our Interns the opportunity to complete a Permaculture Design Certificate while you stay and work with us.

The Internship program will culminate with a graduation ceremony at our September Festival event where each participant will pick their own special tree from the nursery and plant it, receive a High Valley Dawn T-Shirt and a certificate.

Permaculture is all about building Permanent Culture and that is what we aim to do here on the farm. One of our main goals is to inspire the next generation to get back in touch with Mother Nature. This isn't just about learning to growing your own food; it's about learning to live in and create community, follow your passions and manifest your dreams.
