sunday farm tours

Updated: Aug 12, 2021

We are now offering farm tours most Sunday mornings at 9am with farm Owner, Ross O'Reilly

Ross will give you an introduction to Permaculture and our vision for the farm while you take a walk through the market garden, the food forest, the animals and showing all of the sustainable features like the natural desalination plant, the powerless cold room, our solar irrigation systems, our upcycled house and mud brick pizza oven.

We have a suggested, optional donation of $20 for adults and free for kids. All donations will go towards helping us create our education centre to help future generations learn how to work in harmony with Mother Nature for the future of our planet.

I really enjoyed reading about the Sunday farm tours and how visitors get to see the day-to-day operations up close. The part about learning where different produce comes from and how animals are cared for was especially interesting. It made me think about the importance of connecting with local food sources, something that reminds me of how Assignment Help Australia encourages practical learning alongside theory. I also found it curious how small activities like feeding the animals can leave a lasting impression on children and adults alike. Overall, the article gave a nice glimpse into farm life and sparked my curiosity about how these tours might influence people’s appreciation for sustainable farming and local produce.

I am a newcomer to this industry even though I know its been around for thousands of years. I am looking forward to seeing the farm and look at ideas to create a working partnership.
